A Change in Year 2012

Dear blog,

So sorry...seems like i have not update my blog for umpteen years...haha
yes, i wanna talk about my life again..."how i'm doing so far...."

"so far so good", been just very ordinary these days, leading the same old life.

I'm so wanting for a change....in my career and my life.
i just wanna throw away these two years' memories and move on...it's time.

Human Resource is not what i wanted, however, I'm glad that I am being exposed to this field and learned up quite a lot HR skills.

I have my plan for year 2012, i hope it can be executed from time to time. Starting February, I'll be undergoing Flight Attendant Preparatory Course for 3 months. Hope to get the job that I have been longing for. I'll tender my resignation latest by June 2012 if i didn't get any crew job in between. I'll then shift to Singapore/KL and opt for another suitable job.

That's my plan. Pls take place.

my last post was on 23 March and today is already 13 April, been real slack lately :P

life is kinda packed these days,
packed with lotsa sport games....
gym, badminton, swimming and of course golfing :)

my pink golf club, nice huh?! :)

Fell in love with golf, now only i realize how fun golf is~
from starting point I can't even hit a ball, not as easy as what i thought,
now i didn't even miss a ball, haha....still it's too early to be happy...
i still have lotsa kungfu to be done to play it well.

going down to the course is still very faraway based on my 1/4 skill :P

oh ya, I am flying off again...end of this april with my sister :D
time to release pressure from work, haha~
time to have lotsa fun~
gonna snap stacks of photos as this is the first time I am visiting Western country.
mad excited :) :)

Went to USS with bingzy and we had lotsa fun there.
there's been a long time since i last met him and guess what,
we are still so damn close....guess this is what we called BFF :)
lotsa crazy and happy moments spent together, a worthwhile trip indeed~

And also, not forgetting the beauty pageant that I participated earlier.
I won a "Most Photogenic" title, damn happy to enjoy the whole process
even though I didn't manage to get the 1-3 prize~
Made lotsa pretty friends throughout the competition, another worthwhile event :)

About work, I might have the chance to go overseas again, still yet to confirm though.
If fortunate, I might need to go Vietnam again and Philippines for recruitment purpose.
Hope it's confirmed, so that I can obtain another experience in interviewing again :)

Anything that I missed out here?
If yes, guess it's not really suitable to share it here.
I might as well keep it inside

correctly should be a beginner golfer :P

My GM's succession plan, to train me up to be his disciple~
He's my shifu now, haha XD

Went to Pulai Spring Golf Club yesterday and learned starting from zero.

Firstly, is to get the items to start the training.
Complete club, gloves, golf shoes, cap etc.
Lotsa troubles though for this sport, lotsa money needed too~

I have this brand's tennis racket too, freaking nice white color racket :)

my 1-sided glove, to start off with driving range~

Still finding a nice complete ladies' club set, will gotten it soon :)

My shifu said I'm not bad, quite a fast learner, haha XD
Managed to learn up the standing position and holding club position,
as well as swinging position.
Not so correct yet though, have to get some coaching to learn more.

Golf is really a tough sport, not as easy as what i think.
I still need lotsa practice before I can get onto the course for 9 holes.

Hopefully, I can become a pro-golfer soon, haha XD

Pity my long abandoned blog...been extremely busy lately.
Not even have time to blog a post......
too many things kept inside me...
All of a sudden I feel that I'm suffocating.

have you ever hate your own character?
Sometimes....right?
Same goes to me....there's too much of dilemmas in life,
too much...too hard...for you to make a certain decision.
But what i have chosen is go along with my heart, selfishly.

No regrets, i hope~

Many things to accomplish this year....and i tell myself i must do it all~
Firstly is having a S figure, wanna shed all the fats and transform again...
just like how i transformed few years ago....
hopefully it's gonna be another good transformation.
Secondly is about traveling, travel as more as possible.
Glad to say it's gonna be accomplished soon.

Few more hours and it's gonna be year 2011......

How time flies.....
First, I am older by 1 year although my birthday is still far away from now....
Second, the most anticipating part is BONUS and Chinese New Year,
it's gonna be so so so exciting!!!!!

One thing that i must do before entering year 2011 which is flash back what I've done and learn in year 2010.
Lotsa things happened and it can't simply fit into 1 post here.
I'll do it short and sweet then :)

The whole year is about work and traveling.
Sounds bored huh?!
Guess this is what we called working life, sucks sometimes, sweet sometimes XD

Went to Taiwan, Vietnam, Thailand and Hong Kong this year.
Well, I consider myself very blessed to have visited 4 countries this year.
Learnt quite a lot of things when I am in overseas, it's worthwhile :)

Besides that, I have crossed my own barrier to put on BRACES!!!
It's so painful and suffering....but still worthy....
that i will have a pretty smile and face shape very soon.

Talking about work, my commitment grows into an unexpected level....
unexpectedly high.....
it's good news though :)
Also, I have been promoted this year with increment, excited till now LOL XD

Overall, 2010 is a blessed year and it's gonna be the same for 2011 too...
May all my loved ones stay healthily and happily as ever,
guess that's the most important thing to me~

I've been doing lotsa stupid things lately, and guess this is not a good space for me to voice out all my troubles anymore~

Guess I'm brainwashed....

Being emotional when I'm all alone, tried to pack myself with lotsa works,
but this doesn't work at all....
I am still thinking......
Time can help me to erase it from my mind..but it's taking a long time for me to do so...
I never had such an awful feeling before, it's like something stuck inside my brain and my heart...
So awful and I'm feeling terrible....

A restless morning

Duh...that was a super restless morning, 08-11-10

I'll remember this day forever....

Our office was broken in by some stupid buggers.
It was a blue blue blue Monday....the whole office was mad messy and filled with dirt.

Claimed by my GM, these people are professional conman,
as this was all well-planned before carried out.

First is killing our watchdog on last Friday,
second is they know the route and floor plan so well...
third is they cut off all our phone lines....

They even knew which is the way to break in without alerting our security guard.
They managed to break into the Store, followed by ground floor office,
and finally to the 1st floor office.
They broke in all the doors and ransacked all of our drawers, of course took all the valuable stuffs.
(Doubting whether there is an insider in this case)

The worst thing happened in my AGM's room which is also finance office.
This is where we suffered heavy losses, laptops, OHP, cash, gold and etc.
Total loss is approximately over 30k+.....OMFG!!!

Construction area, lol~

They used up a grinding machine to make a hole and break the safe,
and everything was gone :(
Imagine the 15cm thickness safe made of bricks & plates, they managed to drill a hole out of it,
freaking scary~
Guess they used up 3-4 hours for this burglary.

Sigh..........lotsa works to be carried out after that.......
Police investigation: Giving statements, taking finger prints & evidences, finding suspects
& so on.....

What a restless morning!!!

Forget about the f*cking part, still my trip was a nice one :D

Basically, I love Ocean park, Ngong Ping Village and Avenue of Stars. Super fun with awesome scenic XD

Work continues to be more challenging~

This time me & my engineer landed in Hanoi to settle about recruitment matter.
Hanoi is a serene city, differ a lot with Ho Chi Minh, a hectic city~
But traffic is still the same for both cities, same confusing, lol~

We as the Employer/Customer are very well-treated by both agents from M'sia and Vietnam~
~bloated stomach for every meals, seafood, local cuisine and beers, haha XD

September is here~

And I am back to HR department.

September is a super duper busy month for me~
It's only beginning of the month, but I am so packed. First & foremost was my work, went to Putrajaya few days ago. Second, I am packed with lotsa dates,haha~tea, dinner, movie and party date with my friends.

September is fulled of Public Holidays!!!!!

Hari Raya which falls on 10-12 September~

Preparation for the Hungry Ghost Festival~

Chinese people regard the 15th day of the 7th Lunar month as an important date to give a feast to the ghosts. On this date, the family will cook a lot of dishes and offer them to the deceased.
This is done to please the ghosts and also to gain good luck for the family.
15 days after the feast, the festival will be over, as the Chinese believe that the ghosts will return back to where they come from after a month of 'merry-making'.

Here's my company's preparation for the "Pudu" which means the big feast to the good brothers.

Charcoals are wrapped with red-colored paper, the charcoal is called black gold as a good sign of prosperity. It's a must to put in the pail.

Fruits - offerings to the good brothers~

Lotsa hell bank notes~

The pails for offerings, contain biscuits, rice, salt, sugar, oil, drinks, snack and a lot more dried food~

The offering will be on tomorrow, 21 Aug 2010~

I am loving August so so much >.<

In fact, I am loving my everyday XD

First is about working in Purchasing Department. It has broaden my network, in terms of suppliers and even customers. I got to know lotsa suppliers, they are very nice and friendly to me :) . Also, I am the head of this department, of course, the feeling is very much different when you are the little boss *wicked* hahaha~

What a sh*t day!!!!!!

I have lost my credit card for 1 week and I have just realized it this afternoon!!!
What the f*ck is wrong with me?!

Been acting so blur these days, I can't even tahan myself >.<

Last Thursday, I went shopping at AEON Bukit Indah.
I have used my credit card in Watson and i totally forgot to take back my credit card.
OMG, f*cking careless!!!!!
It was all the cashier's fault as he was a newbie and calculated wrongly for my bill for 2 times.
That was the reason why I forgot to take my credit card as I am putting my full attention on the total bill.

Luckily, I have called up PBE customer service centre today to block my credit card.
And i found out that the f*cking lad had used my credit card to fill petrol last Saturday.
WTF!!!!!

Fortunately it's not a huge amount, guess his car is only a Kancil.
hahahahaha...................

Sigh...I have to go to the Police Station tomorrow to lodge a report in order to appeal on the amount that he(f*cker) used.

Still, I consider myself as lucky as I realized it not too late and the criminal did not burst my CC. I will of course go to the Watson and try to complain about this matter.
I won't let the matter rest so easily~

I just got myself a trial pack of Collagen tablets from Total Image :)

I have been thinking for a long time to take collagen tablet but because it's so pricey, i give up my thought previously.

Until my mom told me that she has been taking collagen since she's 25 years old. And these days lotsa my friends are all complimenting my mom that she looks extremely young.
Yeah, she is. She looks younger than her actual age which is 52 years old :P
Besides that, her skin is still so soft & supple although she has darken much due to too much of exposing to the sun. Still, her skin is considered very good compared to the other aunties at her age.

As such, I think i should give it a try.
If it's really good, I will be on long consumption then.

Hmm...i bet you never hear of this until i tell you in Chinese which is 生蛇.

Yeap, so what is health snake?

Health snake is commonly known, its true name, Western called herpes zoster, traditional Chinese medicine known strand sore, or called girdling fire Dan, also known as the snake wrapped around waist. Health snake is a skin disease, people suffering from this disease, skin redness and blisters occur, with a group of long, seems like a string of beads, and like a snake, so called Health snake. Health snake painful, a burning, often sudden onset, to surprise people. Snakes are often long in the waist, threatening, chest and thighs and other places.

Yes, i had it once which is 4 years ago, it surrounded my neck (almost). I went for the doctor and he prescribed me with medicines and cream. It was all useless, getting serious on the other hand....until my mum brought me to a shifu who knew how to 画蛇. So you must be very curious on how 画蛇 is done.
First is to buy a bowl & chinese writing brush.
The shifu then fill the bowl with tap water and start to draw at the infected area.
It was really amazing as after that everything was gone O.O

Unfortunately, i am having health snake again...it's on my neck.
Fucking itchy & painful~
Freaking ugly too :(

Braces Diary~Day 14♥

It has been 2 weeks since i've put on braces.

Seems like i have get used of it......
what a good news :D

Almost everyone who saw me told me that I've lost weight,
this is of course a super good news indeed :D :D :D
but not a lot, i guess...maybe just a 1 or 2 kg.

This is how my teeth looks like after 2 weeks, compared with the 1st picture, it's clearly seen that my 2 front tooth have moved....it's not so crooked compared to previously.
So amazing~

The rest of the tooth is still crooked, still have 1.5++ years to go~

Day 1

Went to the dentist in the evening, was very very terrified on the way there.
I thought putting on braces is super duper painful,
then i realise it's not.......for the meantime i guess...haha XD

Used up 2 hours to finish the whole process.
And, it's all done now :)

I know that I look super ugly now....but, it's ok.
You can call me "Ugly Karen" for these 1 and a half year time.
But after that, wait and see how i transform...*giggling*

Why?
Not only that i will have a better face shape, i will have very nice and cheerful smile too :D
I can finally get rid of my messy teeth, yeah!

Also, in these times, I can only eat some soft things...have to quit hard and fried things to avoid any painfulness. In other words, it's a slimming program for me as well, haha~

Ho Chi Minh Business Trip

Wohoo.....

This is the 1st time i work outstation......and it's overseas :D

30 June 2010 - I landed in Tan Son Nhat International Airport on 11am, 12pm Malaysia time. My agent's staff picked us up at the airport and straightaway headed to their office in the city area. I just realised that Sovilaco, my agent's company, is the largest recruitment company in Vietnam.

Worked till 3pm and had our late lunch at a very famous restaurant in Saigon. The food was marvelous. Baguette is the daily must-have food for all Vietnamese. Wondering why they like it so much at the 1st place but after i tried my 1st ever Vietnam baguette, I fell in love with it. It was a very simple dish, baguette eaten with butter and sugar, yet it was delicious...we had lotsa delicious vietnamese dishes too....yum yum :P

We checked in our 4-star hotel called First Hotel. I liked the hotel very much where everything was provided including Wifi :)

After our late lunch, our "diep-zai" chauffeur which was handsome in Vietnam language brought us for a city tour. He even brought us to a traditional Vietnam food shop to have "bobia" (spring rolls). Hmm...it wasn't so nice for me as the ingredient used was raw vegie...the "bobia" was matched with a special sauce mixed with shrimp paste. Mr Minh (our chauffeur) ordered a special drink for us too....tasted like 6-flavor in M'sia.....haha XD

Night fallen, we had our dinner at a Korean Retaurant behind the hotel. Ordered lotsa Korean food and soju, we headed back hotel with bloated stomachs...haha :P

1 July 2010 - After breakfast in the hotel, we booked a tour to famous Cu Chi Tunnel :D

Brief intro:
The tunnels of Củ Chi are an immense network of connecting underground tunnels located in the Cu Chi district of HCM (Saigon) and are part of a much larger network of tunnels that underlie much of the country. The Củ Chi tunnels were the location of several military campaigns during the Vietnam war, and were the Viet Cong's base of operations for the Tet Offensive in 1968.

Soon, we headed for afternoon city tour....visiting the President's Palace, temple, church, market and embroidery shop :)

Ended the night with a super nice dinner at a famous restaurant in Saigon. We had a super bloated dinner again and had a walk on the streets before heading back.

I called it a 'bloody day'~

Started with a bloody morning meeting, one-by-one, everyone was being dissected into few parts.
Included me as well, being seriously dissected :(

Continued with some bloody issues that caused me being screwed up again,
it's not my mistake but in the end i got the 'fucked-up'.

Sigh...................................................

Ended with a real bloody scene at night.
My nose bled like a leaking water tap, freaking scary as I didn't realize it at the 1st place.
Till i realized it, my both hands and face were covered with blood.
My nose kept running with BLOOD, unstoppable.
Blood splashed all over my shirt and hips.
My parents got shocked and treated me like a patient after that, funny :P

I even took photos of my shirt and leg covered with blood, freaking scary, it looked like a murder case, lol~

I am not going to post the photos here, they are too gross for my blog >.<

That was why i called it a super 'bloody day'~

My 1st Working Anniversary

Today is 15 June 2010~

It's my 1 year anniversary for my job♥

I've been working for the past 1 year in this company
and glad to say i'm still loving it very much :)
Of course, problems and pressures do exist, but whose job involves no pressure!!
Pressure sometimes is my motivation, stimulating me to improve day by day~

I am fortunate enough to be employed by this company,
as I'm treated very well all along here.

Salary, well, it's good enough for a 1 year experienced executive~
Remuneration, i receive my monthly allowances and also my first ever BONUS :D
Claimant, I must say my company is super generous in giving claim to the staff~
Working hour, no overtime is required, that's a big relief~
Freedom, yes, I am allowed to access to the internet which includes FB, youtube, blogspot and even GAMES~
As in freedom in the other meaning, I am given the authority to make certain important decisions, as if I am the little boss here *winkz*

I am also lucky enough to have met my GM, he's extremely good to me, perhaps his daughters are all in overseas, so he treated me as one though :)
He takes me to breakfast sometimes, buy me pao and lo mai kai every Monday, chat with me very often and even favor my opinion~
He even plan to buy a Club for me so that I can learn to play golf with him~
That's so cool as I am always keen in learning golf :D

Asking me to leave here and switch to the other job, frankly say, this is super duper HARD!!
I can't bear to leave here~

June, an amazing month, i guess....haha...
June is a super super busy month,
loads of things in my pending list:

my works - HR & Purchasing,
interviews - I am looking for a new job,
my trip - Bangkok in July,
my fun time - clubbing with my crazy friends,
travel to KL - thrice this month,
my plan - thinking to put on braces!!!

Besides that, June 15 is the day that I work for 1 year in this company!!
I am going to celebrate this anniversary for sure :)

Hectic Life

It's hectic, yet happy & excited

Instead of doing HR & admin work, I've been transferred to Purchasing department and I'm now a Purchasing Executive :)

1st thought is hectic and I doubt that I can cope with it, as I have to manage both sides of works. 2nd thought, this is really a good chance for me to pick up another skill.

Yes, that's right.
I am gonna be in this department for 4 months and guess I will learn a lot here.
Today is the 1st day of learning. Everyone is telling me no worry as this will be a piece of cake for me. Hopefully that's the case :D

I'm so weary right now~
Been rushing here and there for the whole day.....

Early in the morning, i nearly oversleep, i wake up at 7.30am which is so late~
rushing this and that, then heading to work with a messy hair and pale face :(

Then around 9am, my GM suddenly call me to his office and ask me to get everything prepared to go to KLIA & MAB with him.

Reach there at 12pm and get all the works done....
Then, we have our lunch at super high class restaurant in Nilai, called Loon Sing Restaurant.
The restaurant is famous for "Buddha jumping over the wall", but you can only enjoy it if you make advance booking, so i didn't get to try it, sad :(

I never have my lunch in such classy restaurant before, imagine it's just a lunch,lol~
We have dimsums for our lunch, super nice!!! And super EXPENSIVE, haha~

didn't manage to take all the dimsum's photos, as my hand and mouth are busy with the food :P

When was the last time you said 'i love you' to your mom?
When was the last time you look at her and notice her wrinkled face?

We are grown-ups and we tend to forget the little things that happen in our life.

Today is Mother's Day.
It is kinda special for me this year as this is the first time I give something to my mom using my hard-earned money.
She's going for Yunnan Trip with my dad on me and my sister's sponsorship.
It is so meaningful and worthy.

So, what is the most suitable word for you to describe your mother?

For me is 'GREAT'.
'GREAT' in everything in my life.

Her name is Paw Tin.
She's good in culinary, she knows how to bake cakes and cookies.
That's the reason why I love to be at home for her dishes, haha~

She's good in caring, she provides all of her children security and protection.
I feel protected whenever I am with her. She tend to settle everything for me.

She's good in understanding. She understand for every decision I've made even though the decisions might not be precise. She know that I'll learn to stand up from my mistakes.

She's a GREAT mother. Words are hard to measure and describe.

And I believe that every mothers are the greatest mom in the world.

Reflecting Myself for My Dream Job

After thinking and reflecting for quite some time, I have finally figure it out~
I've been going for few cabin crew open recruitment since last year until now, but none succeed.
(Korean Air, Qatar Airlines & MAS)
I am being eliminated some in the 2nd stage and some in the final stage, how disappointed i am :(

But upset is not the solution, instead of being sad, I should have figure it out what makes me "not-up-to" the interview.

No preparation - Yes, i admit and i regret. I didn't make full preparation before the recruitment. I should have read through the company profile and some latest news. But i always attend the recruitment with a blank mind. Sometimes, i even overlook some compulsory documents to bring on the day. How clumsy i am :(
Lack of practice - Yes, practice makes perfect. Practicing on how to react to responses, how to speak well, how to carry yourself and so on & so forth. That's the reason that I didn't make it....too much of "Ah", "Umph", "Eh"& etc.
Lack of Interest - Again, yes, i think I've shown a lack of interest during the group discussion. I am not actively involve in the discussion. I speak very less and I did not "steal talk".

That's the reason why i failed every time.

It's ok, I still have lotsa opportunities,
all i have to do is IMPROVE and learn from my mistakes!!

Reflect > Learn > Improve > Practice

Most important, i have to SMILE more and be CONFIDENT~

♥Taiwan Trip 2010♥

I'm back from Taiwan~

The first thing i brought back is 'Germs', hahaha~ I've fell sick since back from Taiwan.
First is slight fever, second is hoarse voice, followed with dry cough and flu~
What a mess!!

It's worth it though, cos Taiwan is a superb nice place! Thumbs and toes up :P
We spent 5 days and 4 nights mainly in Taipei, sad to say, we do not have enough time to travel further :(

First Day (12 April 2010)
Early in the morning, we boarded AA's bus to LCCT, the ticket fee was RM9 per pax, it's so cheap~ We reached LCCT at 7.45am and immediately proceed to check-in. After check-in, we went for our super-exp breakfast in Old Town, LCCT. We boarded AA's D7-2672 and departed on time. Hmm...i wonder why a lot of people is always telling me about AA's habitual delaying. It wasn't for me on my first fly. Good impression indeed!! About my first fly, I was so excited for the take-off, i love the feeling when the airbus speed up and take off!! Well, after that I wasn't feeling so well on board, I was feverish and could not get into sleep. The journey took 4 hours & 40 minutes, it was a super long flight for me, so terrible!! We reached on-time as well, then boarded an express bus to Taipei city, it took us 1 hour to reach Yuanshan MRT station. We topped up our MRT card and reached Jiantan station, 1 station from Yuanshan. Finding our backpackers hostel using a map was so damn hard, therefore I asked around while baby captured here & there using his DSLR. Soon, we found it, near a 'OK Mart'. The hostel is simple and nice, it was occupied with all necessities for us~ Then, we visited Shihlin Market and Night Market. We were stuffed with lotsa Taiwan food, fried oyster, oyster meesua, tempura, bbq, bubble milk tea, super big fried chicken and etc and etc.....our stomach bloated with fooooooood. And of course, we bought lotsa stuff too....clothes, accessories, special umbrella & so on :)

Second Day (13 April 2010)
Second day, first problem we had was finding a breakfast shop, super hard to find one in Jiantan. We saw lotsa people rushing here & there, some to work and some to school, we seems to be the most carefree one, lol. Therefore, we settled our breakfast with bento from 7-11. The bento from 7-11 was super super nice!!!
I fell in love with 7-11 in Taiwan!!
Then, we hopped onto MRT to Zhongxiao Fuxing station. And boarded an express bus to JiuFen. I wasn't so sure about Taiwan's weather as the first day was quite hot. But the second day is so damn cold. I guessed it was around 14 degrees. Reaching JiuFen, it was raining but not too heavy. I could forecast that it's gonna rain on that day and eventually I brought an umbrella. How lucky I am :P
Freezing up on the hill, baby bought me a leggings and scarf for me as I was wearing super short sun-dress, lol~ Walked around in Jiufen and ate something that I could not forget till now, and that was Braised Pork Rice!!!! Love max~ After that, we headed back to Taipei and went to WuFenPu. And, that was my shopping time!!! Warren said: "You can't finish shop here even you come for 2 days, it's too big!!!!" So many clothes, so many trendy stuff, feasted my eyes, hahahaha~
Then, we went to Ximending and walked around. There, i bought a pair of boots which baby claimed that it was so cute, but i did not really feel so, haha~

Third Day (14 April 2010)
Taking our heavy bags and stuffs, we headed to Xin Beitou for hot spring!!!! Hoorayyy! We checked in a superb nice hotel where we had our own private hot spring beside our bed. After that, we went to Dan Shui Old Street and this was the place i liked so much in Taiwan. We walked along the Dan Shui Pier and the feeling was so relaxing :)
We headed back to our hotel around dusk.
Then, we visited Beitou Thermal Valley and enjoyed our very own little hot spring.

Satisfied with the hot spring, we moved on to find our final hotel in Taiwan. And we ended up in Ximending with a super high class hotel. Love it max~
We visited Taipei 101 and then we decided to go WufenPu again before we back to Malaysia. We had our last minute shopping and headed to famous Raohe Street Night Market for our dinner~ Again, we gorged ourselves with lotsa nice food and baby tried smelly toufu for the very first time!! it sucked, hahahaha~

Final Day (16 April 2010)
We walked around in Ximending for the final day. So unbearable, we packed our luggage and headed to Taoyuan Airport. We regret that we did not stay there for few days more but baby said we gonna go there again next year~so, Yeahhhhhhh!!!!

Summing up, my Taiwan Trip is so much pleasant and enjoyable.
Taiwanese is so friendly, the weather is so cool and nice, the environment is so clean, the scenic is awesome, and most important, the food is MARVELOUS!!!!!

I love TAIWAN so so so so so much♥

Yes, Thank God, it's Friday!!!!

1 hour to go....and I am freed to go......
For 1 week I am freed from hectic work, so i shall shout now! LIBERTY!! Hooray!

Therefore, before i settle down to blog, I try to settle all the events and problems.
I told them: "I'm out of office for 1 week. If anything, pls contact my colleague, otherwise email my personal mail and I'll try to reply you".
Yeah, before I go abroad, I have to settle several jobs on hand.

A fine afternoon with a marvelous late lunch.

Here we are, this time is DaoRae~

Looking straight into the shop, I find nothing special, first thought is that "Another normal Korean Restaurant"~

My opinion totally change after we finish our meal :)

This is the shop, located in Kepong~

The Menu, you have to come several times to try out all marvelous dishes~

One time is simply not enough...

The ninth day of the New Year is a day for Chinese to offer prayers to the Jade Emperor of Heaven (天宮) in the Taoist Pantheon. The ninth day is traditionally the birthday of the Jade Emperor. This day is especially important to Hokkiens. Come midnight of the eighth day of the new year, Hokkiens will offer thanks giving prayers to the Emperor of Heaven. Offerings will include sugarcane as it was the sugarcane that had protected the Hokkiens from certain extermination generations ago. Incense, tea, fruit, vegetarian food or roast pig, and paper gold is served as a customary protocol for paying respect to an honored person.

CNY Trip to Penang

There we goes......travelling again~

And this time we landed in Penang :)

We set off at 6am to avoid jam~
Watching sunrise on the way to Ipoh~

Stop by Ipoh to have our dimsum breakfast, it's yummy but quite expensive~

What a sweet coincidence, met Shirlene by the roadside and have a longgg talk....XD

Soon, we set off again to our destination.

Penang Bridge

Baby got me a hat, totally love it!!!

While waiting for 1.30pm ride, we yumcha at the mamak nearby~

On the way going up, so crowded inside the cable car~

We are so lucky to hop on this ride, as Penang Hill will start closing for renovation on 21 Feb 2010 for 7 months+

The old & obsolete cable cars will be replaced with a new railway system.

Crawling into the tunnel, it takes 30 minutes for us to get to the top of the hill~

No air-cond, crowded....what a torturing ride :P

And finally, we reach and the scenery is awesome. There he goes, snapping nonstop~

We head back after 2 hours. Taking the suffering ride again~

I must say Tune is really worth & affordable :D

Yes, i've changed my hairstyle.

It looks nicer compared to the previous messy one :)

I've gotten back my long-lost fringe :D , I even change a new hair color, gold -> copper~
Much more darker therefore it makes my hair look healthier, yippee~

Also, i forgot to show my valentine present in the previous post, so I am gonna reveal my 2010 Valentine present, I am a little surprised that baby bought this for me. Imagine a man walk to a boutique and buy ladies' outfit :P
It's quite embarrassing~lol

I've told him a month ago that I was looking for this type of jacket. So, he went hunting in Sg Wang Plaza & Times Square.

And, he found one in dark brown.

My company is loaded with Caucasians these few days. I get to know a Chilean. Just in case you do not know, Chile, officially the Republic of Chile is a country in South America occupying a long, narrow coastal strip between Andes mountains to the east and the Pacific Ocean to the west.

He is an inter-exchange training student from Chile and landed in PGL for his training. He will be here for another half year. Forgot to mention his name, his name is Felipe Acuna.

Guess what, as I am learning Spanish lately, I am able to speak and converse with him in his language. Iclaro, I only know some basic Spanish conversation. Well, he is shocked when I speak basic Spanish with him, haha. And so, that makes us 'click'.

He'll be my teacher now, teaching me more & precise Spanish :D

My Pre-Valentine Celebration♥300110

Valentine = Chinese New Year

Both important days eventually fall on the same day which is 14 February 2010.

For married couples, it's definitely not a difficult task to celebrate these two days at the same time. For distance-love couples, one word can conclude it, which is TOUGH or IMPOSSIBLE!!

Yes, that's so right. And i fall into the latter category.

So, in order to give me a perfect Valentine, baby has actually plan to bring me to Cameron!! :) :)

It's nowhere so interesting, but I have a very romantic freezing night there. Imagine the warmth of our holding hands against the mist and coldness in Cameron.

I love this simple sweetness~~so much of in love at the perfect moment♥

After almost 3 hours, we reach Tanah Rata at about 5pm. The first thing is to check in!! We didn't book any rooms, still we manage to check in Heritage Deluxe Room which costs about RM350. We choose the Heritage New Wing(4 Star) which is just being built and renovated not long ago, therefore, everything's clean & NEW!!

There's a bathtub too,
in which baby know that I like bathtub, so he specially choose Heritage for me~

Hungry, so we head to the pasar malam and buy a lot of junk food, e.g. fried mushrooms, fried vegie, strawberries & etc.

We go on to find a place to have our dinner. And, we bump into Winnie in front of her parents' shop, so we stop by and have our steamboat.

Having steamboat at night in Cameron is really superb, wonder why Cameron is always freezing at night~

After dinner, we walk around in Brinchang, I call that a damned-cold stroll.

Baby's snapping here and there....*Ka cha, ka cha*

A tea shop which I like the slogan so much~

"It pays to buy GOOD tea!"

See this, strawberry soap~ nice and cute~too bad i didn't buy, regretting now :(

We walk on and baby finds this hotel so antique, so there he goes, snapping again. It reminds us of the Hotel Peikin which we stayed before in Penang, an antique and old hotel~

Walking on, we stop by Strawberry Moment to have our dessert, I am too full yet I still insist :P

I like this shop~ the shop looks as sweet as its dessert~

Look at my face, I am so happy when my dessert comes, I am just so "wai sek" :P

Soon, we head back to the hotel since it's already so late~

I am currently quite into making fancy of my hair~ I've been perming my hair into big wave, curly and etc using my beloved hair gadget~This is it~1 set of Philips Hair Gadget~~
Consists of straight iron, big & small curler, curvy iron & more, love it to the max~

And now,

Hair color which I am thinking to go BOLD, so damned BOLD!!!

Yes, that's BLONDE~~

Yeah, I am not a Caucasian of course, but why? Can't we Asian be a blondie?!

It really look nice, but not sure if it's nice on me~

Consequences of dyeing this color:

You'll become lala/ah lian if this color not suits u.
You'll become an eye-catcher everywhere u walk.
Mom & Dad will certainly give u long grumble.
You'll probably get criticism from your friends (Either behind your back or in front of you).
You'll look fairer & much more radiant if you are a fair-skin person.
You'll look extraordinary, that's for sure.
You have to keep dyeing once the black strands appear.

Cons weigh more than pros.
